December is the month when the most engagements happen.  Whether you're getting engaged, or are already planning your upcoming nuptials, these are some creative ways to ask your best friend to be at your side.I have to come clean with you why I'm writing this post. Last month when I got engaged I didn't  still don't have an idea as to where to start.  I heard some people saying "work backward, figure out what you want to remember most about your wedding and work back from there."  Okay.  So.  I know that I only want one person standing with me.  For most this is a sibling but as an only child the only siblings I had were of the four-legged variety.  I have exhausted myself looking for ways to ask my best friend to stand with me.

Here were some of my favorite ideas:

1) If you guys were more of the studying type.  A simple message hidden in a crossword puzzle and the best part is you can find this on Etsy.

2) If you guys are great beer drinking friends.

3) Here's a simple way if you guys are completely honest with one another.

4) If she spends a lot of time on Pinterest, impress her with this DIY creation.

5) And finally.  I may have a dog in this fight as to why this one is my favorite.  Perhaps invite her to one of your favorite Northern Colorado Wineries.  And maybe this winery is called Blue Skies Winery and just happens to be located in Fort Collins. Set up a private tasting and then have one of your ultra creative friends design a wine label specifically for her.  Just sayin' this may be my favorite.
