I bet you read the title and asked yourself, "Why???" I did to and after reading the story I am still asking that question.

A student in Texas took video of an officer just walking and then spraying a baby squirrel in the face. The poor little squirrel was dazed by it and was taken to a shelter and cared for then released back into the wild.

The officer was not punished for his actions and it was said that the pepper spray was deemed reasonable after several attempts to get the squirrel to go away didn't work.

Here is my thought, one could only assume that they ended up calling animal control to come get the peppered squirrel, so why didn't they just call them to begin with?

Do you agree with the officers actions?
