A Colorado man is in custody after an argument with his family resulted in him challenging his daughter to a duel. According to 9 News, El Paso County Sheriff's arrested 38-year-old Robert Williams on Wednesday evening (June 1, 2016). It's reported that Williams was having an argument with his wife and daughter, when he pulled out a handgun and pointed it at them. He then told his daughter to get another gun from the other room so that they could duel.

During the altercation, Williams is reported to have fired one round, resulting in his daughter returning fire. When Williams wife and daughter attempted to leave, Williams then grabbed a shotgun and pointed it at his family. His wife then armed herself with a rifle and took her family to a friend's home where she called 911.

No one was hurt during the incident, and Williams is being held on two counts of felony menacing and prohibited use of a weapon.
