Colorado Judge Suspended for Driving Under the Influence
A Colorado judge has been suspended for 28 days without pay after pleading guilty to driving under the influence.
21st Judicial District Judge Lance Timbreza was in the Colorado Supreme Court on Monday to receive his punishment for crashing his vehicle into the trees on the roadside in Grand Junction on June 15 while intoxicated.
Timbreza was sentenced in September by a visiting judge to two days in jail, which he will not have to serve if he completes a year of probation. He is also required to do 36 hours of community service.
