Colorado is in a serious deep freeze and it's expected to continue for the next day or so. The coldest temperature that I recorded here at the plush confines of Townsquare Studios in beautiful Downtown Windsor was -10.

These temperatures can be dangerous to anyone but especially the elderly. If you have an elderly family member or know someone who is living on their own, check on them.

Also, if you are going to be outside for any period of time, but especially extended periods of time, layer up!

I can't imagine having to work outside in temperatures like this, so shout out to everyone out in the fields or having to make a living working outside. We appreciate you.

Shout out to the city workers for keeping our roads as clear and safe as possible. That's not an easy thing to do in weather like this and they're doing the best they can. Also, keep in mind to never pass a snowplow. Be patient and stay safe.
