Coldplay’s ‘MyloXyloto’ Is Now A Comic Book (And Issue #1 Is Free Right Now) [VIDEO]

Coldplay has turned their album, 'Mylo Xyloto', into a comic book series and right now you can download the first issue of the six-issue mini-series for free on iTunes.

Issues 1-3 are available now in Apple's iBookstore and the other three book will be released one per month. The freebie won't last though, it's free right now because it is the iBookstore's Book of the Week.

How did Coldplay get their own comic book? Well, according to the comic description on iTunes,

Three years ago, Coldplay and frontman Chris Martin teamed up with Mark Osborne (Kung Fu Panda, MORE, and the upcoming The Little Prince) to create Mylo's epic story that has gone on to inspire chart-toppers like "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall," "Paradise," "Princess of China" and "Hurts Like Heaven" - which has its own MYLO XYLOTO COMIC themed music video.

According to Billboard, Coldplay will also be releasing a special package for Record Store Day (April 20th) which will include the "Mylo Xyloto" album, Issue 1 of the comic, and a special 7-inch vinyl picture disc featuring "Hurts Like Heaven" and a live version of "Us Against The World."
