‘Chronicle’ Trailer: Realistic Portrayal of…Superpowers? [VIDEO]

It's no secret that I'm guilty of the occasional jaunt through the worlds of science fiction and fantasy (don't judge me; everyone's a little bit nerdy).

Factor in my love for movies, and it's not surprising that this trailer jumped out at me.

Chronicle looks to actually be a study of the human condition wrapped up in drama and superpowers.  You don't see that combination very often!

More often than not, movies in this vein tend to be shallow and special effects-driven.  It's nice to see that Chronicle might break that mold with some quality drama and character development.
