Chili Cookoff to Benefit the 28 Hours of Hope

It's that time of year! As the weather gets cooler, we all want to bake a BIG pot of chili to get us ready for the season.

Do you think you have the BEST chili in Northern Colorado?

Maybe you do something unique that makes yours stand above the rest?

The Boot Grill, in conjunction with Townsquare Media, will be holding their first annual chili cookoff on Saturday, September 26th! Proceeds from the event will help benefit the 28 Hours of Hope, which works to help stop child abuse in Northern Colorado.

Here are some specifics for you concerning The Boot Grill First Annual Chili Cookoff:

Time: Chili teams may begin cooking as early as 9 am. You have to bring your ingredients and cook onsite but you can do vegetable cutting and prep ahead off site. Chili needs to be ready for guest tasting at 1 pm and judging will be done at 5 pm.

What does it cost? Each team entry is $75. $50 goes towards prize money and $25 goes back to 28 Hours of Hope, an incredible Northern Colorado organization that has worked tirelessly to help support and give back to kids who have endured child abuse in Northern Colorado. We are proud to help such an important organization!

Guest attending will be charged $5 admission and 100% of this admission fee will benefit 28 Hours of Hope.

What do we bring? Teams need to bring ingredients, cooking supplies and any team signage.

What will The Boot Grill supply? The Boot Grill will supply sample cups, spoons, napkins and table space for each team.

When is the sign up deadline? You have to be signed up and paid by 8 am on Saturday 9/26.

How do we sign our team up? Easy! Email bootgrillmanagement@gmail. com   We need: your team name, who is the main contact, what is that person’s phone number and email and when will you arrive to start cooking on 9/26.

They will have draft beer available outside during the event. A portion of the proceeds from all drafts poured outside during this event will go back to 28 Hours of Hope.
