After much speculation surrounding the Denver Broncos' international schedule for the upcoming NFL season, Broncos fans now have answers.

On Wednesday, May 4, the National Football League (NFL) announced its full International Series schedule and confirmed that the Denver Broncos will face the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium in London, England on Sunday, Oct. 30.

The Oct. 30 game "across the pond" will begin at 7:30 a.m. MT and will be broadcasted live on ESPN+. In addition, the game will also be available on other local market television stations.

According to USA Today Sports, Jacksonville will be the designated “home” team, which means Denver will not lose a home game at Empower Field at Mile High this season; Denver's international away game will take place during Week 8 of the 2022 NFL season.

Following the Jags/Broncos game in London during Week 8, Denver will likely have a bye in Week 9, USA Today says.

"It's a great honor for the Denver Broncos to be selected by the NFL to play in London as part of its International Series," Broncos General Manager George Paton said in regard to the news about the upcoming away game.

"Broncos Country is everywhere and the best way to grow our game — and reach fans all over the world — is by playing internationally. Our entire organization is excited with the opportunity to play at historic Wembley Stadium against the Jaguars."

As per the NFL's 2022 5-game International Series schedule, two additional games will take place in London, while one game will be held in Munich, Germany, and another in Mexico City.

"It's good for the organization," President/CEO Joe Ellis said in late March of the prospect of an international game, DenverBroncos.com reported.

"It's good for branding purposes, but it's also good for the team. It brings the team together. I think the period of time where they kind of have a mini training camp, gather, be together, have all the meals together, socialize together, practice, get ready for a game, it's a good experience for teams. Everybody that's gone over has liked it."

The Denver Broncos were formerly set to travel to London back in 2020 to play in a game against the Atlanta Falcons, but that trip was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been over a decade since the Broncos played in London; the last time was in 2010.

Keep an eye out for the Broncos' full 2022 NFL season schedule, which will be announced on Thursday, May 12.
