According to Broncos TV, on Tuesday, September 5, the new WiFi setup was unveiled at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium. There are now four times as many antennas throughout the stadium as there were previously, so fans will have a more reliable, speedy internet connection during games.

'We want to connect as many fans as possible in the venue,'  said Senior Information Technology Engineer Jason Moore in a Broncos TV video. 'Up until now, we've been a Verizon Hotspot, so we've opened up another wireless SSID for the remaining fans to be able to access our wireless system.'

Sounds great, right? Better WiFi connection in a crowded space so you can Instagram those #GamedaySelfies -- what's to complain about? Well, some fans of Denver's team are critical of the multi million-dollar renovation following the recent price hike for Broncos tickets.

One Facebook user on the Denver Broncos' page, Kathy Moore, said, 'I'd rather connect by being able to get a ticket...' while Roushell Hamilton Jr. agreed, saying, 'Of course they do this in a season where it's TOO EXPENSIVE to go to a game lol.'

On the same Facebook thread, Patrick Cunneen commented, 'Great! Now even more of us can sit and stare at our phones instead of watching the action on the field.'

On the other hand, some praised the new WiFi addition. As Matthew Nugent pointed out on Facebook, some fans in the higher up seats stream play-by-plays on local sports radio networks from their mobile devices. The WiFi improvements will benefit those ticket holders.
