Boise Avenue is an effective artery in southeast  Loveland; but to make the water system more effective, they’ll have to shut it down for two weeks.

I can see where a lot of folks often take Boise Avenue clear across the east side of Loveland. It’s a fairly quiet road, with few stops. Starting Monday, October 16, 2017, however, there will be a big stop.

The City of Loveland will be installing new water lines, starting at 4th Street SE, near Winona Elementary. Boise will be closed at from that intersection in both directions, all the way to 14th SE (Highway 402.) The closure will run for roughly two weeks -they should be completed with the work by Friday, October 27.

Access to Winona Elementary and to Osborn Farm’s pumpkin patch at 14th Street SE will be available during the closure.

The new pipelines will be bigger, to accommodate the growing Loveland population; and, of course, newer. ‘Out with the old, in with the new!’
