There was a home that sustained an explosion in Johnstown early Thursday morning at around 3:20 a.m. located at 6539 E. County Road 16 east of Johnson's Corner.

Front Range Fire and Rescue were the first to the scene where they witnessed heavy damage to the home, but no active fire. Investigators from LFRA, Larimer County Sheriff's Office and assistance from Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms are looking into the cause of the explosion. Currently, there is no suspicion of criminal activity.

All six of the residents were able to evacuate the home, one suffering only minor injuries.
