In the middle of Loveland, there is a natural area named River's Edge. Authorities were notified of a body in one of the ponds there on Sunday.

A deceased 40-year-old male Loveland resident's body was recovered from Sandpiper Pond at River's Edge Natural Area on Saturday, according to the Reporter-Herald.

The body was found at around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2019. No foul play is suspected, as the Larimer County Coroner is currently investigating the cause of death.

The man's name will be released once the family has been notified.

Personally, I've always found the name of that natural area a little unsettling, as it reminds me of the movie, 'River's Edge' from the 80s.
