I know a lot of people who are afraid of using an outhouse or port-a-potty and this story is not going to help with that fear. 65-year-old Gord Shurvell was camping and fishing at a cabin in Ontario with his friend when the bear attack happened. He said that he was sitting in the outhouse doing his business with the door wide open so he could enjoy nature when the bear came in.

I'm sitting on the throne, and my feet are sort of up on the 'poopstool,' we call it. So I'm kicking at him to get away, but he grabbed my pants and that gotch that were down around my ankles. And that was the start of it, and he just kept coming."

The bear then began to drag him through the bushes by his arm while he was screaming for his friend. His friend grabbed a gun and came running and shot the bear in the head.

Shurvell escaped the attack with some scratches on his head, neck and arms, as well as a puncture in the back of his head.

The best part of this story is when he was asked if the attack scared the "you-know-what" out of him, he replied, "It was already gone!"
