Black Friday is coming up and as much as I hate it, because I think people care about it more than Thanksgiving, people are still going to get up early and take part in it. I used to work in retail for quite a while and Black Friday was never fun. So I am here to ask, neigh, plea, please be courteous to each other and the employees. We all know how crazy people can get with Black Friday, but just remember, it is worse for the employees. They have to either work late or get to work early, the day after a holiday, and deal with pushy people who get mad because they couldn't get a toaster for $5.

There is no sense to yell at someone for grabbing the last thing or trying to run them down with your cart just because you think they are heading to the deal that you want. Also, don't yell at the employee for running out of something or not being able to help you right away. Sure Black Friday is crazy for the shoppers but it is even crazier for the workers. Just give them space and let them work and be nice to them when asking questions.

That being said, workers on Black Friday, be nice to the shoppers. I know it sucks working early and dealing with pushy people who didn't get enough sleep and  yell at you for stuff that is not your fault. I have been there, its not fun. Just try and keep your composure and everything will be alright.

As much as I hate Black Friday and what it stands for , it is going to keep happening. But that doesn't mean that people need to get trampled, shot, punched, arrested, etc. for the last juicer. Please everyone, just get along.
