President Barack Obama’s planned visits to Denver, Aurora and Colorado Springs on Tuesday have all been cancelled. Also, Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan cancelled his Tuesday trips to Greeley, Castle Rock and Canon City because of the storm.

With the Presidential election just a week away both the Obama and Romney campaigns have kicked into high gear, but Hurricane Sandy has put on damper on both candidates plans, as well as disrupting just about everything on the East Coast.

According to CBS Denver, former President, Bill Clinton is still scheduled to campaign for Obama in Denver and Aurora on Tuesday. And the Longmont Daily Times-Call says that Obama is still planning on coming to Boulder on Thursday.

You know what makes me sick about this storm, aside from all the disruption, destruction, and danger associated with it? The fact the someone in these political battles is going to use the storm to try and sway voters, or use it as a scapegoat if they don't get enough votes.
