‘Avengers 2′ Confirmed (Duh): Stuff That’s Cool

In news that you probably knew as soon as you heard Marvel's The Avengers was breaking all-time box office records, a sequel has officially been green-lit!

Marvel Studios plans on finishing up other projects first, but Disney (which owns Marvel nowadays) says an Avengers sequel is definitely in the works.

...(Disney CEO Bob) Iger said a third Iron Man and a second Thor are scheduled for 2013 and a sequel to "Captain America: The First Avenger" is in the works for 2014. He gave no timeline for an Avengers sequel.

Iger also said we'll soon be seeing Avengers attractions in Disney theme parks.  I know it's capitalism at its worst, but I can't help wanting to go to Disneyland now!
