Artist Carving Wooden Statue at Windsor High School [PICTURES]

I was at a wedding over the weekend an ran into Windsor High School Principal Michelle Scallon. She was telling me about a new creation at the school that they are all very proud of. It's a tree carved into a Windsor Wizard. You can find it between the administration building and the high school.

They are expecting the project to be completed this week by tree carver Sheldon Roberts.  When he is done, the massive cottonwood tree will become an 8-foot tall Wizard.

My wife and I stopped to take a look at the carving on Labor day, so I snapped a few pictures.
