Armed Robber Thwarted After Chili Powder Thrown In His Face [VIDEO]

You know what always makes my ‘dumb criminals’ list? Thieves who are thwarted by something I’ve seen in a Looney Tunes cartoon.

Take this guy for instance, he was trying to rob a convenience store, but was doused in the face with a cup of chili powder!

According to AZ Central, the robber went in the store, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded all the money in the register.

[The owner] calmly went behind the counter as if he was going to open the register, grabbed a cup of chili pepper powder he sprinkles on food, tossed it in the thief’s face, punched him, and sent him packing empty-handed.

If the pen is mightier than the sword, than apparently spicy seasoning is mightier than a handgun.
