Ariana Grande seemingly confirmed her rumored relationship with rapper Mac Miller last week (September 8) after posting a photo to Instagram of the two. But don't assume that gives you license to ask her about her supposed new romance.

Grande's team failed to pass the memo along to Ryan Seacrest, who grilled the "Moonlight" singer on Miller when she stopped by his radio show On Air With Ryan Seacrest yesterday morning (September 14). She made it clear early on that the topic was off limits.

After Seacrest initially declared that Grande's Instagram post looked like an official confirmation of her budding romance with Miller, the "Into You" singer hit back, saying, "Oh, is that what I did? Is that what Instagram means to you now? All right world, let's go."

"Well, I don't know," Seacrest said. "I'm asking."

"What are you asking? You said a sentence, there was no question," Grande continued. "I don’t know man, good morning...it's too early for this kind of tea. It's too early, man."

Seacrest then argued that posting something publicly means the subject is fair game for interview fodder, but Grande shot him down.

"If I post something, then that’s what I’m willing to share at the moment," the Dangerous Woman singer continued. "That doesn’t mean that you, Ryan Seacrest, with millions of listeners, are entitled to more information."
