Let's all be real with each other: you either love Apple products or you hate them. Apple, as a company, is the only American company to achieve a net worth of $2 trillion market value (though, according to CNN, that could soon change), but as we all know, it looks like this tech giant isn't going anywhere.

Well, unless you count Boulder. CBS Denver reported today that Apple is bringing more manufacturing jobs to our state, committing to 20,000 new jobs in Colorado, Massachusetts, Texas, Washington, New York, California, and more. This means 700 more jobs in Boulder specifically.

According to the original release from the Apple newsroom, the announcement comes because Apple wants to support the economy nationwide after a period of immense struggle:

Apple is now raising its level of commitment by 20 percent over the next five years, supporting American innovation and driving economic benefits in every state. This includes tens of billions of dollars for next-generation silicon development and 5G innovation across nine US states.

2021 is being seen as a period of recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic caused a loss of jobs all around the world. In that same newsroom release, Apple says that they are focusing specifically on growing the engineering team in Boulder.
