Amanda Bynes Thinks She’s as Rich as the Olsen Twins

Amanda Bynes doesn't have to work because she's a retired multimillionaire (and because, well, who's hiring her to do what?).

But she's either grossly overestimating her own net worth or underestimating that of the Olsen twins, who also retired from acting to pursue whatever it is they do now that involves dressing like rich homeless people.

When confronted with the fact that she hasn't worked in years, Bynes told InTouch (via Hollywire), "I'm in the Mary-Kate and Ashley type of wealth [category]."

Hardly anyone is in that category, though, least of all Bynes. While she had a shortlived clothing line a while ago, the former 'Full House' starlets have about 20 times as much bank as the former Nickelodeon starlet.

An InTouch source revealed that Bynes is worth about "$5 to $6 million, not anywhere near Mary-Kate and Ashley's money."

Of course, that doesn't mean Bynes is being frugal. She's got zero income coming in, but she's still spending cash like she's worth as much as the derelict-looking rich girls.

One recent purchase? $11,000 worth of hair extensions. If nothing else, she looks better than her wealthier counterparts. And that's worth a lot, but not $295 million.
