A Taste of Colorado dates back to 1895, believe it or not. The 2019 event is bringing some of your favorites acts to Civic Center Park in Downtown Denver.

According to their website, A Taste of Colorado dates back to 1895 when organizers created a 'Mardi-gras-like' festival, 'The Festival of Mountain and Plain,' to help people's morale, as the silver 'bust' was happening. It did fold in 1902 due to lack of funding but was resurrected in 1983 with the new name added to the original name; so technically it's The Festival of Mountain and Plain - A Taste of Colorado.'  That is a mouthful.

Over Labor Day Weekend (August 31, 2019, thru September 2, 2019) there will be lots of FOOD at Civic Center Park, lots of vendors and TONS of LIVE MUSIC- it IS Denver's Ultimate Music Weekend- they'll have over 25 local and National acts that weekend.
