It's that spooky, spooky time of year again, but if you're like me, it's hard to find a place to go on Halloween now that your friends are all grown up and trick-or-treating at this age would be straight up pathetic (or, at least that's what my mom tells me).
Luckily, Fort Collins has your Halloween bashes covered for 2018, so get a costume (or two) ready and break out the dance moves. These unconventional bashes will make you forget that the whole 'free candy' ritual ever existed.
1October 25 at the Downtown Artery
This isn't actually NC-17, but it is hosted by our sister station 94.3 The X, so it promises to be an awesome time. Barns Courtney will be performing a live set and costumes are STRONGLY encouraged. See you there!
2October 27th at New Belgium Brewery
New Belgium's annual Halloween party is back, and will go from 8 p.m. to midnight, featuring DJ Wushu spinning some tunes. Dress up and boogie down!
3October 26 at The Holiday Twin
The Holiday Twin's Spook-a-Thon is a spooky, romantic night at the drive-in featuring a costume contest and a line-up of three great Halloween films: Sleepy Hollow, Alien (the 1979 version), and Freddy vs. Jason.
4October 26 at The Downtown Artery
Celebrate the '90s with the Downtown Artery this week at their 'So-Called Bash'. Dress up at your favorite '90s icon and make boy-band buttons, snap a photo in the photo booth, and dance your mesh fishnet socks off.
If you miss this event, the Artery is hosting another bash on the 31st, Halloween night: their Big Gay Costume Party!
