$5 Guitar = Toddler Prodigy, Kama’s Latest Yard Sale Score
I have scored big time at yard sales over the years. My $1 cowboy boots held the "best score" spot for a couple years, but now that honor goes to a $5 child's guitar that brought proud Mama moments to our house.
My 2 year old daughter Tula has become very interested in music (go figure). I decided not to let this guitar become a toy, but rather talk about it as this amazing instrument and let her get curious first. I showed her how to play it, she was focused and intrigued. My good friend Lindsey O'Brien played at Tula's birthday party this past year, so when Tula first started trying to play the guitar, she said something about "Lindsey" then made the musical magic seen here.
Tula's First Song On The Guitar
Old MacDonald never sounded so good
Of course later that night she had a bigger audience and let us hear some "Old MacDonald"
Cici can play too
Tula is obsessed with one specific baby doll, Cici. Cici must also try everything including playing the guitar while Tula sings the "Marching Band Song"
