Top 5: This Is The 2nd Best Thing About Cheyenne Frontier Days
Cheyenne Frontier Days is happening as we speak just over the Colorado/Wyoming border and so far this year, it's one of the biggest ones yet. Here's one of the biggest reasons why!
What are The Best Things About Cheyenne Frontier Days?
It's funny, I grew up so close, but I never had the opportunity to go to a Cheyenne Frontier Days as a kid growing up in the Denver, Colorado, area. We got around by bus a lot when I was little, and when I was old enough to drive, I didn't have a car I trusted enough to drive to Cheyenne if we're being completely honest. I'm trying to think back to my very first Cheyenne Frontier Days concert, and I'm fairly sure it was Kenny Chesney when he did back-to-back nights years ago.
I had just gotten into radio and so I was sent up for a work assignment when I was doing a show on a country station. I rode up, parked in the lot, and rode their park-n-ride bus to Frontier Park. Kenny did an hour-plus encore that night because he was there again the very next night and didn't care how late he played since he was staying anyways... It was an AWESOME CFD experience.
There have been so many awesome CFD concert experiences over the years, and that's why the Cheyenne Frontier Days concerts are the number two thing that we love best about CFD. This year's line-up has been phenomenal as well so far with more huge shows on the way through this Saturday, including Tim McGraw with Kip More, Jon Pardi with Carly Pearce, and a sold-out Cody Johnson show to wrap it all up.
I know what you must be wondering... If the CFD Concerts were number two on our Top 5, number one has to be incredibly special... And it is! Find out what that is and see the rest of our countdown here...
