It's been a year. Now let's throw in the fact that for the first time in nearly two decades, there will be a full moon on Halloween and you've got yourself something to think about.

Typically I would think this is pretty awesome and I still do (to an extent) but the way things have gone this year, I'm a little concerned and my superstitions are starting to creep up on me.

According to the Denver Post, This will be the first time there has been a full moon on Halloween since 2001 and the last time it will happen until 2039.

This weekend's full moon will actually be the second full moon of the month so that means it's actually called a "Blue Moon" but wait...there more random moon madness facts to share, since this month's first full moon was actually a "Harvest Moon" this full moon will actually be a "Hunter's Moon" which by definition is the first full moon after a Harvest Moon.

So to recap...this weekend's first Halloween full moon since 2001 will officially be A "Full Halloween Harvest Blue Moon" Got it? Good.

Happy Moon watching.
