14,000 Pounds of Denver Meat Recalled
...and it's all thanks to one major mistake at the plant...yikes.
According to the Greeley Tribune, federal authorities have recalled over 14,000 pounds of beef and pork from a Denver processing plant.
Despite the meat being sent to "stores in Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming", it was produced after hours and without inspection. Yeah, I wouldn't want to be the person who takes a chance with that meat.
The recalled meat includes:
- Pork Sirloin Boneless Chop
- Pork Boneless Loin Top Loin Roast with the same sell-by date
- Diced Pork Super Value Pack
- Pork Loin Boneless Chop

We've all gotten food poisoning from bad meat-- you just never expect it to happen so close to home. For more on how to identify the bad meat, head to the Tribune's website.
