Would You Pay For Someone To Snuggle With? Boulder’s ‘Snuggle Stars’ Do Just That

A lot of us like snuggling, but snuggling with a complete stranger? That seems a little odd. I'm okay with hugs from complete strangers, but curling up and spooning with one just seems...awkward.

However, a company in Boulder is offering the services of its professional snugglers for a fee.

The place is called Snuggle Stars and they offer things like 'Snuggle Parties' and 'Snuggle Sessions'.  According to their website, they cater to 'people who are interested in sharing intimacy and affection via touch while staying within their boundaries'.

Okay, I do concede that that the power of touch can be very important in a person's life. I'm pretty sure we've all had moments in our lives when we're down in the dumps and we think things like, "I just someone would hold me and tell me everything is going to be alright."

But, I'm not sure I can wrap my head around a business that you can call up and hire someone to snuggle with. It just seems...awkward. Maybe that's just me. (The two reviews they have on Yelp so far are from people who seemed to enjoy it.)
