Woman Has Baby, Smokes Bath Salts, Punches Nurse and Tries to Bite Cop- Say “What!?”
Bath salts are in the news again, so far no zombies, even though she did try to bite a cop. Carla Murphy was in a Pennsylvania hospital recovering from giving birth a couple days before. She then allegedly smoked some bath salts and stripped off her clothes and went a bit crazy. She was rolling around the shower floor delusional and when the cops showed up to calm her down they found a black pen in her purse with powder inside believed to be bath salts. When a nurse approached her to give her something to calm down, she responded by punching the poor nurse in the face.
She remained aggressive and one cop was able to restrain her for a brief moment before she hit him and attempted to bite him. She was then handcuffed and on her way out of the room, she kicked a nurse in the chest.
Police charged her with aggravated assault, simple assault, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, felony possession of a designer drug and harassment.
Here is a big shocker, sarcasm intended, police found more bath salts, foil and other drug paraphernalia at her home and arrested her boyfriend with drug paraphernalia charges after they searched his home.
That’s a good, “Welcome to the world” start for that poor baby.
