Win A Balloon Ride For Two At This Weekend’s Sweetheart Balloon Rally

The 2011 Sweetheart Balloon Rally is happening this weekend at Old Fairgrounds Park in Loveland (Weather permitting). There will be 15 balloons taking off at sunrise on Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning and a Balloon Glow on Saturday night.

Believe me, if you have never been in a hot air balloon, it is a breathtaking experience. I was lucky enough to ride in one of these balloons last year and I'm fairly certain the photos speak for themselves. Check out gallery below to see some off the pictures I took last year. With 15 balloons taking off at sunrise, the 2011 Sweetheart Balloon Rally is sure to be a breathtaking experience.

The event takes place at Old Fairgrounds Park (700 S. Railroad Ave) in Loveland, Colorado on both Saturday and Sunday, August 27-28. There will be a total of three launches, including 15 balloons at 6 a.m. on Saturday, and 15 balloons again on Sunday at 6 a.m.

Aside from the balloon launches, there will be a Balloon Glow on Saturday evening at 7:45 p.m. during Loveland’s Old Fashion Corn Roast Festival.
