Acapella has seen a bit of a surge in popularity lately thanks to 'Pitch Perfect', among other things. This performance put on by a group called Pentatonix is pretty amazing.

They arranged parts of 36 of their favorite songs to take you through the history of music.

That's a very talented group of individuals. (I'm always jealous of people that can sing well.) The name may sound familiar to you because a while back Derek shared with us Pentatonix  doing a cover of Imagine Dragons' 'Radioactive' with Lindsey Stirling. A very cool version, if I do say so myself.

The songs they used for this video were:

  1. Salve Regina
  2. Canon in D - Pachelbel
  3. Symphony No. 5 - Beethoven
  4. Danny Boy - Frederic Weatherly
  5. Old Man River - Jerome Kern & Oscar Hammerstein II
