On Sunday (November 9) a tow truck driver in Fort Collins was attacked by a man wearing a mask and wielding a samurai sword. According to the Coloradoan, 27-year-old Jeremiah Proctor was wearing a gas mask, ballistic helmet and kevlar vest when he attacked the tow truck driver from H&K Towing who was removing a vehicle that was legally parked. Proctor tried to stab the tow truck driver, missing and slicing one of the trucks tiers. The scuffle was broken up by bystanders, subduing the suspect until police arrived. The driver was treated for a minor injury and released at the scene. Bond for Proctor was set at $5,000 and he is set to be in court on November 19 for suspicion of attempted first-degree assault, felony menacing and criminal mischief.
