If you haven't made your way to TopGolf in Centennial yet, you may not have to travel quite as far to have a fun night out.

Thornton leaders have approved plans for a new TopGolf location near 136th Ave and I-25. Neighbors showed up at a meeting to talk about their concerns over noise and the bright lights of TopGolf. In the end, leaders approved plans to move forward.

If you're not familiar with the TopGolf experience, think your favorite bar meets Dave & Busters meets a driving range meets a game of darts. You can challenge your friends, family, coworkers to point-scoring golf games that anyone can play. Whether you're a novice golfer or experienced, it is fun for everyone, in fact, when I went this past weekend I found that it wasn't the people who hit the ball the furthest who did the best. There are targets strategically placed and the closer to the bullseye you get with your microchipped balls, the more points you score. Food, drinks, and music keep you entertained as you take turns stepping up to the mat.

You pay for your "bay" by the hour, and prices are reasonable and dependent on the time of day you go.
