On Monday (Dec. 14) Highland Hills Golf Course in Greeley temporarily closed due to reports of multiple COVID-19 cases among employees, according to an official press release from the city of Greeley.

According to the city's press release, "Multiple golf course employees tested positive for COVID-19 within a two-week window and following state guidelines city officials shut down the facility. Anyone who visited Highland Hills Golf Course within the last two weeks may have been exposed. Anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms should get tested."

The press release stated that the golf course would close until Tuesday (Dec. 15) to allow for additional cleaning and disinfecting of the clubhouse and maintenance shops.

The closure had no effect on the restaurant at the golf course, the press release said.
