The Twins’ First Birthday -Motherhood Without Warning

My twin boys turn one on May 10th. What a year it has been. A really hard year filled with many tears, frustrations, scares, sleepless nights, crazy love, overwhelming moments, laughter and things you can only understand once you have children and in this case, once you have twin babies and a very bold toddler on your hands. I'm throwing a grand celebration at a park for their 1st. It's a celebration of survival for my husband and I. We are excited to celebrate with all those friends and family who have helped us through.

The boys are both thriving. Theo, my smaller boy, whom spent 6 weeks in the hospital after birth is crazy and loud and catching up in height, but is still on the lean side. They are both walking and very joyful. Teak is very intuitive and has a daredevil side that already scares us. Cheers to parenthood, it's hard and intense and amazing!
