The Ice Rink At The Promenade Shops At Centerra Is Open For The 2013-14 Season

Ice skating is always a fun winter activity and as of today the ice rink at the Promenade Shops at Centerra is open for the 2013-2014 season!

The skating rink opened today, November 8th, 2013 and will stay open through February 23th, 2014. It's located in the Main Plaza of The Promenade Shops at Centerra. (West side of Main Street, across from Dick's Sporting Goods.)

The hours (through January 5th) are as follows:

• Monday - Friday 2 pm - 9 pm
• Saturday 10 am - 9 pm
• Sunday 11 am - 6 pm

The hours change after that and there are extended hours during certain school breaks and holidays. You can see the complete day schedule here. Plus they have some theme days like Skate With Santa, Cartoon Skate, and Rock 'N' Skate. Check the ice rink page for more details.

How much does it cost? Kids 12 and under are $6, adults are $8, and that includes skates, helmet, and a skate trainer if your little one needs it.

I love ice skating, I'm not good at it, but it is fun. I will say that it makes for a fun holiday activity and can make for some amazing photo ops if you bring a camera along!
