Kings of Leon can add acting to their resumes now. Appropriately enough for a band that’s known to love their alcohol, the brothers Followill made cameos on ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ — as bartenders and a drunk.
Between one epically bad concert and a cancelled string of tour dates, Kings of Leon have certainly been no strangers to unwanted publicity this summer.

Kings of Leon has been announced to play Red Rocks Amphitheatre August 31st and September 1st, 2011 with support from Band of Horses. Tickets start at $56 and go on sale this Saturday at 10am through Ticketmaster.

The Followill fellows are the latest act to get their very own rockumentary with the upcoming screening of “Talihina Sky: The Story of The Kings Of Leon.”
The 87-minute feature film will be shown at the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival as a work-in-progress. The 10th annual festival is set for April 20 through May 1 in New York City.
This year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California will be headlined by Kings Of Leon, Arcade Fire, Kanye West, and the Strokes. The huge music event happens April 15-17 and the musical acts were announced on the Coachella website late Tuesday night.
