Emergency Alert System

If you hear emergency alert sirens going off in Weld County Saturday morning, don't panic, it's just a test. According to the Greeley Tribune the Weld County Office of Emergency Management will test its emergency siren system at 10AM this Saturday. (May 18th, 2013)

Don't freak out if all of your favorite  TV shows and radio stations start sounding EAS warning beeps during your lunch hour today. Around noon (2PM Eastern) TV and radio stations across the county should be broadcasting first nation-wide test of the Emergency Alert System.
