Stoner Mom Leaves Infant On Roof Of Her Car – Dumb Criminal Of The Day

I need to preface this story with, “Don’t worry; the kid was not hurt.”

A 19-year-old Phoenix woman and her boyfriend drove away with her 5-week old child in his car seat, on the roof of her car!

The kid was in a safety seat, on the roof of the car and wonder-mom forgot all about him. She and her boo drove off and the kid eventually fell off the roof in the middle of an intersection!

*pause for gasps*

Like I said, the kid was not hurt.

Thankfully!, he was taken to a hospital as a precaution and then delivered to child protective services.

Now, I fear of ever doing something like this with my baby, and one can make the case that “baby-brain” could make a loving mom forget something like that. But no such luck here.

According to the Huffington Post, the mom and her boyfriend had been smoking weed in the park and had left with the infant so they could go buy beer.

Taking a 5-week old to the park to go get high, and then leaving him on the roof as you make a beer run? Despicable!

Mom was taken to jail on child abuse and aggravated assault charges, while the boyfriend was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.

This kid’s life is not off to a good start.

And I’m guessing this isn’t going to help the “legalize marijuana” cause either.
