Son Of Greeley West Football Coach Drowned In Windsor Over the Weekend

As if we haven't had enough tragedy around here over the past couple of months. A 25-year-old man drowned in Windsor over the weekend. According to the Greeley Tribune the man was identified as the son of the Greeley West High School football coach.

According to the Tribune, Tyler Roggy died in a water-related accident at Whitney Reservoir, a private lake in Windsor, and was pronounced dead Sunday evening.

Roggy is the oldest son of longtime Greeley West football coach Mark Roggy and his wife, Robyn Roggy. He is the older brother of Greeley West graduate Conner Roggy, who is now a defensive back at Colorado State University.

My thoughts go out toe the Roggy family and all of those affected by this tragic loss.

This simply makes my heart hurt.
