I am so disgusted right now. Just watch the undercover video below and you will be too. But be warned it is very graphic and couldn't even make it through the entire four minutes.

It shows shows workers kicking living piglets, swinging sick piglets in circles by their hind legs, hitting and kicking mother pigs as they resist leaving their young and other despicable things.

These atrocities were caught on camera and released by the Humane Society of the United States at Wyoming Premium Farms, a pig-breeding facility. You've been warned about the graphic nature of the video. (You actually have to sign-in to to watch the video on YouTube.)

According to the Greeley Tribune,

The video — shot in April and released by the Humane Society of the United States in Denver Tuesday morning — was taken at Wyoming Premium Farms in Wheatland, Wyo., owned by Denver-based Itoham America, Inc. and shows workers kicking living piglets, swinging sick piglets in circles by their hind legs, striking mother pigs with their fists and kicking them as they resisted leaving their young.

The Humane Society said in a news release that it has notified local authorities of the incidents, and that, as of Tuesday afternoon, the Platte County Sheriff’s Department was investigating the incidents, but no charges have been filed.

Humane Society officials added that Tyson Foods has decided to stop doing business with Wyoming Premium Farms.

I'm at a loss for words.

Abusing kids and abusing animals rank right up there at the top of my no-no list. I can't fathom how anyone would think these kinds of actions are okay. I don't even care if the video was "edited to look worse than it is", there are things done in this video that no living thing should do to another living creature.

Disgusting.

According to the Humane Society’s news release, the video also reveals a mother pig with a broken back leg enduring a very heavy worker sitting and bouncing on top of her hindquarters as the pig screamed in pain. The investigator also found pigs with untreated abscesses and severe rectal and uterine prolapses.
