Talk about controlling your own destiny. This guy pulled off  some Mission Impossible stuff... well kind of.

Art student Andrzej Sobiepan covertly hung one of his own paintings in a major Polish gallery. He told a local news station:

I decided that I will not wait 30 or 40 years for my works to appear at a place like this, I want to benefit from them in the here and now."

He hung up his painting in the contemporary art room when a guard was looking the other way and it stayed there unnoticed for three days.  The Museum director stated that it it revealed some security breaches but considers it a "witty, artistic happening."

The museum has decided to keep the painting on display in their cafe until it goes on sale this Sunday for a charity auction.
