Mom Tries To Make Her Daughter Shoplift, Then Ditches Her – Dumb Criminal Of The Day
If you choose to lead a life of crime, at least leave your 11-year-old daughter out of it.
A 49-year-old woman from Detroit convinced her daughter to shoplift at an Old Navy store and then ditched her once the girl got caught!
This story comes from Detroit News, apparently the mother and daughter (along with another woman and child) entered the store together. The other couple walked out without paying for a bunch of merchandise that the adult in that duo had stuffed into her purse, she was arrested for retail fraud.
The 11-year old girl who was left alone in the store holding a purse full of stolen items. She told police that her mother had given her the purse and told her to walk outside and meet her at the car.
By this time mom had already taken off and fled the scene. But it gets worse; when police called the mom she denied ever being at the store and then refused to pick up her child from the police station.
Police are now seeking criminal warrants charging the woman with retail fraud, child neglect and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Way to be a good role-model mom.
It seems like most teenage girls say they hate their parents at one point or another, but this girl has an excuse to really mean it.
