Not one, but 2 teams from Colorado are in the Big Dance! The CSU Rams were named to the field of 68 yesterday.  The CU Buffs got an automatic bid by winning the Pac-12 Tournament over the weekend.  Both teams will begin play in the NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament on Thursday. Who else is in the tournament? Here is a bracket for you!

The CSU Rams men’s basketball team will play Murray State in the 1st round of the NCAA Tournament. The 11th seeded Rams and 6th seeded Racers will play on Thursday in Louisville, Kentucky. The winner will move on to a third-round game Saturday against either No. 3 seed Marquette or the winner of a Tuesday first-round game in Dayton, Ohio, between BYU and Iona. This is the 1st time since 2003 that Colorado State has made it to the Big Dance. If y0u would like to fly out and see CSU play in the 1st round you can get ticket info here!

The CU Buffs men’s basketball team won the Pac-12 Championship on Saturday by beating Arizona 53-51 and earned an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. The Buffaloes are a #11 seed in the South Division and will face 6th seeded UNLV on Thursday at the The Pitt in Albuquerque, N.M. The winner of Thursday’s game will play either No. 3 seed Baylor or No. 14 South Dakota State in a third round game on Saturday.
