Man Uses Dinner Fork To Steal Half A Can Of PBR – Dumb Criminal Of The Day

Bumming a beer off someone is not all that uncommon. Bumming one from a complete stranger is a little less common, but it still happens. However if someone tells you “no” twice, you should probably move on.

Unless you’re this guy who came back after being denied free beer, flashed a weapon  and stole a half-empty PBR from a 21-year-old woman on her patio.

According to Journal Star, our 35-year-old miscreant was wandering around a neighborhood in Lincoln when he spotted a group of 20-somethings sharing some beers on their porch. He walked up and asked for a beer and was denied, not one, but two times before he gave up and left.

But I guess he really wanted a beer because he came back and lifted his shirt, revealing the silver handle of a weapon under his waistband. The girl thought it was a knife and handed over her precious beer. A half-drank, Pabst Blue Ribbon.

The girl called police and they quickly tracked the thief down, still nursing the beer and with weapon in tow. Turns out the weapon he’d threatened the girl with was a dinner fork.

Things didn’t end well for this moron, but there was a happy ending for the girl he stole from. A sales manager at the Pabst Brewing Company heard the story and personally delivered 60 cans of PBR to her door.

Kudos the him.
