Man Tries To Rob Pizza Joint With A Knife, Clerk Laughs At Him And Says ‘No’

Some guys just aren’t meant to be criminals. Take this guy, for example, he tried to rob a pizza place in Florida with a knife, but the girl behind the counter just laughed at him and told him, “No.”

According to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, this guy showed up at a pizza joint wearing a ski mask and carrying a knife. He went inside and demanded money from the female clerk. She thought the whole thing was just a big joke and told the guy, “No,” twice before the would-be thief took the hint and left.

Luckily, one of the other employees got a good look at the guy as he was taking off his ski mask and getting in his car, and so did another motorist who called police and followed the “getaway car”.

Police showed up to find the owner of the car putting license plates back on the vehicle. Apparently, he had let his friend borrow the car to make a beer-run, and his friend had told him he took the plates off because someone matching his description robbed the pizza place.

The friend, also at the residence, advised the car owner that [The Pizza Place] had been robbed by someone matching his own description. The friend commented that he did not did not want to be mistaken for the robber so he removed the vehicle’s tag.

Some friend that guy was.

It took police all of 12-minutes to solve this case and arrest the wannabe robber.
