Man Makes Up Bomb Threat To Get Girlfriend Out Of Work

We’d all like to leave work a little early, but most of us are smart enough to realize that faking a bomb threat is not the smartest way to get a few extra hours of ‘me’ time.

According to My News 13, a 28-year-old California man called a restaurant and told the manager he had placed a bomb in the restaurant.

Police evacuated the place and found no bomb.

Why did he call in the threat?

His girlfriend worked there and he wanted to get her out of work for the day.

I’m assuming his girlfriend didn’t take this as the romantic gesture he thought it would be. Now he’s facing charges of false reporting of planting a bomb.
