Man Lives To Joke About a Nail Lodged Inside His Brain for 36-Hours

Wow. A 32-year old man is recovering from surgery after finding a 3 1/4-inch nail inside his brain! And get this, it was in there for a day and a half before he even knew about it!

According to Ohio.com, Dante Autullo though he had cut himself with a nail gun while building a shed. He had fired the nail gun above his head and thought a nail has flew by his ear and cut him. His buddy cleaned the wound with peroxide, and Autullo continued his day as normal. However, the next day he woke up from a nap, feeling  terrible and took a trip to the hospital where they took an x-ray.

When they brought in the picture, I said to the doctor ‘Is this a joke? Did you get that out of the doctors joke file?’

The X-ray revealed a 3 1/4-inch nail lodged in the middle of his brain, just millimeters from his brain-stem.

He's expected to make a full-recovery, but he'll certainly have a story to tell. Check out video of the story from ABC News.
