Man Brings Infant With Him To Meet Prostitute – Dumb Criminal Of The Day

It seems the Dumb Criminal theme this week is all about bad parenting. Today we have a 29-year-old man from Alabama who decided he’d take along his 9-month-old child to meet a prostitute at a nearby motel.
I don’t think this is the kind of father-child bonding those parenting books are talking about.
According to WTVM, wonder-dad had set up a meeting with this lady of the night and couldn’t find a babysitter, so he decided to take the fruit of his loins along with him.
Once he got to the hotel room another man showed up and the two started fighting. Shots from a gun were fired while the baby was in the room and one of them grazed the dad’s heads.
The child was on the bed, he picked the child up, tried to leave, that’s when he was shot at.
He then went to a hospital looking for treatment and hospital workers called police after they heard his story. Police showed up and took the kid into protective custody and the man could face some serious child endangerment charges.
